A Presidential hopeful, Ambassador Felix Johnson Osakwe has called on Youths in the country to ensure that they all get their Permanent Voters Card so as to ensure that they voted in credible persons during the 2019 general elections.
Ambassador Osakwe who is the Executive Director Affairs, Universal Peace Federation Special Consultative Status at United Nations Economic Social Council, said this while addressing some youths from Agbara area of Ogun State on his Presidential ambition and the roles expected of youths in the coming elections.
He said due to the importance of 2019 elections, all Youths must ensure that they obtain their Permanent Voter's Card so as to address some of the challenges facing the youths and Nigerians in general .
Osakwe who is also the Executive Director Universal Peace Federation, opined that youths have not been active enough in Electoral process, thereby allowing some old politicians to drive them backward.
He noted that youths are the greatest assets of any nation and for any nation and democracy to thrive , the roles of youths must not be undermined .
Present at the meeting were some youths in and around the Ado/Odo local government areas and some elders including Chief Olakunle Johnson and many others
