This is not the Change Nigerians Are Seeking For- UN Ambassador

A United Nations Ambassador Mr Felix Johnson has lamented that in spite of high expectations from the government to transform the Country, the masses are still being denied the change they all yearn for.

Felix Johnson who is also a social commentator and Promoter of a Non Governmental Organisation, FJO, said the living conditions of the average Nigerians call for urgent intervention from the government at the center and the States.

Speaking to Journalists on behalf of Felix Johnson, his Director General, Mr Olakunle Johnson said what Nigerians are passing through presently in terms of road, electricity , power and healthcare negates what they needed from both the State and Federal governments. 

He said there is need for Nigerians to realise that to get the needed change "all of us must change our perception about how politics is being played but pay more attention to good governance that will promote equal opportunities where people in the rural areas can benefit immensely from the basic necessity of life" .

" There is no sense in pursuing national development when we cannot guarantee every Nigerians equal opportunities, So long as the spread of progress is limited to Nigeria largest cities whilst the rural communities are left with lack of basic necessities such as good roads , power ,healthcare , we cannot said to be a great nation ." 

He there fore called on Nigerians  particularly the youths to be actively involve in politics  so that they can be able to choose candidates both State and at the Federal level to actualize their dreams .
