Not less than nine persons were reportedly killed by gunmen on Friday morning in Benue state.

Reports have it that gunmen stormed Tse Ujoh, a community in Ikyurav-Tiev in Katsina Alla local government area of the state and opened fire.
The police spokesman of the state, Moses Yamu, confirmed the story
He said “The attackers stormed the community in a commando manner, shooting indiscriminately. Some of the invaders entered into houses and attacked occupants. Eight persons died on the spot. Some were injured and taken to hospital, and four others died in the hospital
