Woman On The Run Following Terrorists Attack

A middle aged woman, Yetunde Hannah Ogunfidodo was said to have been declared missing following series of attack on her home by people suspected to be Islamic  Boko haram terrorist group



Ogunfidodo it was learnt is a Christian woman married to her husband, a Prophet,  Micheal Ogunfidodo,  a Prophet with Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Maiduguri.

A source who spoke to our Correspondents said Yetunde , a resident of Abeokuta, Ogun State was warned against marrying Ogunfidodo  because during their courtship,  he had revealed that when they married, they are going to relocate to the Northern part of the country, a move that her family did not approve of. 

Our source said that though the marriage was successful  but their neighbours in the north has been creating one crisis or the other for them since they got married. 

He said the last time they heard of the family was when the Boko Haram sect invaded their home in the middle of the night, maiming and killing all those on sight including worshippers.

It was learnt that women were abducted during the attack, the victims were members of the Church which Yetunde Ogunfidodo husband  heads. 


Our source said that , one of the worshippers that was attacked, told Our Correspondent  that many people sustained injuries in the attempt to escape.

The source did not say if anyone was killed but added that there were sporadic gunshots from different directions during the attack.

Another victim, said the insurgents came in two Toyota Hilux buses.

“Many who were caught in the attack were women who lacked the strength to run away. The incident occurred in the night” he said.

Hamisu said the insurgents also engaged in serious gun battle with troops in the area.

“I don’t know if the soldiers were able to save the worshippers but many women were abducted in the attack,”he said.

What we learnt was that those attackers were during the attack shouting the names of the Prophet and his wife, Yetunde Hannah Ogunfidodo,  saying that  the couple had succeeded in converting many to Christians.

"Anybody that knows their where about should please warned them not to come to this area at all, because those terrorists still meant to attack them again because they have being consistently visiting their abode and church.


The spokesman of the army, was not available for comments as his telephone line was out of reach when Our Reporter  attempted to speak with him..
