Ogun APC Tasks Agents On Vigilance At Coalition Center

The Ogun state chaptaer of All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on all its agents across the state to be vigilant against any form of malpractice at all coalition centers across the state.

State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade (Ambassador) Tunde Oladunjoye  made the call while speaking on phone over election situation in his Ijebu-Itele area of the state.

Oladunjoye asserted that the call became necessary in view of the reports reaching the state secretariat of APC that the incumbent governor, Ibikunle Amosun has busy himself going around to cause mayhem and possibly induce willing INEC officials towards upturning the result of the guber and state House of Assembly election held in the state.

The United Nations' Ambassador for Peace said already, reports reaching the State Secretariat of APC indicated that the party has been maintaining "a clear and clean lead" across the state, which he said has thrown Amosun into an unmeasurable confusion.

"We cannot rule out the desperation of Amosun with an eminent defeat in this exercise. Therefore, we call on all APC coallion agents at Ward and Local Government levels to be vigilant to avoid likely malpractice".

"This is just to avoind a repeat of the kind of violence recorded during the Presidential and National Assembly (NASS) elections because reports reaching us indicated that our party, APC is maintaining a clear and comfortable lead".

"We also want to commend the media, the civil society organisations as well as the coalition of security agencies for ther steadfastness at monitoring the exercise".
