..Pledges total supports for Fayemi

The National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Ekiti State Chapter have celebrated President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Kayode Fayemi and all the newly elected State and Federal lawmakers during the recent General elections in the state.
The group in a statement signed by the Secretary, and Public Relations Officer, (PRO) Olajide Funso and Esan Abiodun respectively said "it is with great joy that the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities in Ekiti state rejoices with our amiable Governor on the recent victories of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and its candidates at the just concluded general elections".
JONAPWD added that "Our joy knew no bounds on the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Election considering the recent Discrimination Against Persons with Disability (Prohibition) Act 2018 signed into law earlier this year which prompted the Disability Community in Nigeria to come out enmass to exercise their franchise for him.
"The victories of the National Assembly Members-elect in the state such as Hon Femi Bamisile, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Hon Adaramodu, Barr Peter Owolabi, Senator Adetumbi, Hon Dayo Adeyeye and others who have been long term friends of Persons with Disabilities in Ekiti state gladdens our heart.
"It is our believe that they will do more for the disability community than ever before.We also wish to congratulate the State Assembly Members-elect and the Returning members most especially our very good father, brother and friend in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Gboyega Aribisogan for a well deserved victories, it is our prayers that huge success shall be recorded during their tenure in office.
"The roles played by Dr Kayode Fayemi, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi and a host of others cannot be overlooked. The willingness of the people to associate and to participate in the restoration of our core values and repositioning Ekiti to its rightful place among comity of states in Nigeria played a major role.
"JONAPWD, Ekiti State chapter do hereby admonished the winners to celebrate in moderation and see it as a call to service and those who were not voted in to accept it in good faith knowing fully that their own time will come if they faint not while also continuing in the service to humanity. Indeed, no vanquished, no victor.
"We also pledge our total support to the agenda of the administration of Dr John Kayode Fayemi in repositioning Ekiti State and restoring our values and to also give our absolute support to the Members-Elect both in the State and National Assembly in other for them to formulate policies and enact laws that will benefits all Ekiti Ketes and Nigerians at large".
