Senate increases, passes N8.9t budget for 2019

The Senate has finally passed a N8.906 trillion budget for 2019, increasing what was presented to it by President Muhammadu Buhari by N80 billion.

Buhari had submitted a N8.826 billion budget to National Assembly for consideration.

The passage of the budget was sequel to the consideration of the report of the Senate Committee on Appropriation.
