Ogun State Governor elect, Prince Dapp Abiodun has made it known that his administration has genuine plan to build a world class Creative and Entertainment Village as part of his dream to further promote the rich cultural heritage of the State.
Prince Abiodun who disclosed this during the Cultural Evening in preparation for his inauguration in May 29 held at June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta, said that the State was blessed with great icons and endowed with tapestry of rich cultural heritage that must be show cased to the outside world.
He noted that the entertainment village is long overdue in the state to attract world tourists and enhance the socio - economic development of the state.
He urged the good people of the State to continually pray for the success of his administration, promising that his administration would bring forth a new dawn of making the state a real cynosure of arts /culture in the comity of states.
He pointed out that Eyo festival that has gained global recognition was a cultural heritage of Iperu descent in Ogun State which he promised to reinvigorate for cultural advancement of the state.

Muyiwa Oladipo, disclosed that the Cultural Evening was put in place to honour the Governor elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun and to showcase the great cultural heritage across the four division of Remo, Ijebu, Yewa and Egba in preparation for making the state a cultural hub in Africa and the world in general
