A new generation church was on last Sunday attacked and a female worshipper abducted in the process.
The woman simply identified as Fabunmi Stella Onize was attending the Sunday service at the church situated in the Abeokuta metropolis when some cult members stormed the church and abducted her.
Reason for her abduction was unknown as at press time.
When our correspondent visited the church Monday, he was denied access to see the presiding pastor for reasons best known to the protocol officers in the church.
When asked if the whereabouts of the woman has been ascertained, the protocol officer declined comments.
But speculations are been made that the abduction of the woman is related to her involvement with the cult members.
When our correspondent contacted the police public relations officer of Ogun State command, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi, he said the matter in undergoing investigations and wouldn't want to comment on the matter in order not to impede adequate facts finding regarding the matter.
