Sincerity, love and responsibility to families and members of the society irrespective of religion, tribe or socio-cultural belief has been identified as a major factor that would unite Nigerians.
The Chief Imam of Sa Adatul Abadiya Organisation of Nigeria Nationwide, Alhaji Ismaheel Abdulateef stated this while playing host to the Executives and members of the United Nigeria (UN) a none governmental organization (NGO) at the Central Mosque Leme in Abeokuta.
Abdulateef said sincerity, love and individual responsibility and respect for each other would further strengthen the unity of Nigeria as well as lead the country to social and economic tranquility, adding that irrespective of where we found ourselves mutual understanding plays a major role in order to unite with each other.
Speaking from Quran Chapter 52 v 21 Imam said building a good society starts from how well parents were able to bring up their children in the way of the God Almighty, saying that focus of all good Muslim should be building a good long lasting peace with your immediate family and other members of the society irrespective of religion or tribe.
Speaking in an interview the President, United Nigeria (UN) Prince Taiwo Nodiru said Nigeria Unity was not negotiable, as Nigerians must stand as one entity to have a better Nigeria, adding that seeing as my brothers and sisters in Islam, I should be able to see all other tribes in likewise manner irrespective of the religion they practice.
He said UN is a None Governmental Organisation and a sociocultural body with a coalition of all major ethnic groups in Nigeria that believed in one, strong, unite and indivisible Nigeria, adding that the membership consists of Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Fulani, Edo, Idoma, Akwa-Ibom to mention but a few.
