Varsity student commits suicide after discovering boyfriend is messaging another girl on Facebook

A few months after discovering her boyfriend has been messaging another girl on Facebook, 23 year old Huddersfield University student, Emilly Elliot has committed suicide.

Emily had first discovered her boyfriend named Shay Doyle had been messaging another girl on the popular Social networking site Facebook in February 2019. Upon discovering, she immediately made an attempt to take her own life. However, Mr Doyle who is also a student of the same university profusely apologized to her and the pair resumed their relationship.

However, a few months after reconciliation, Doyle visited Emily's house only to find her dead body inside her apartment.

During a court interrogation, Doyle revealed that the pair first started as friends at the University and flirted for a few months before things started getting serious between them.

He even revealed that the pair had a sweet relationship and even lived together at a point where they thought about having kids together.

He further revealed that the pair had blocked each other on social media following their break-up after Emily’s discovery of his actions but had rekindled their relationship at the end of March 2019.

The late Emily was described as a very attractive, sociable young woman who had lots of friends and worked in bars and clubs.
