Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has broken down following her arrest by the Lagos State Police for violating a lockdown order on Coronavirus.
The actress sparked outrage on social media in the early hours of Sunday after a video of her hosting a crowded birthday party for her husband, JJC Skillz on his 43rd birthday went viral.
Men of the Lagos state police stormed her residence where she was arrested on Sunday evening.
The police also said that efforts were intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, including singer Naira Marley and the actress’s husband, JJC Skillz.
The heartbroken actress in a new deleted Tweet following her arrest wrote;
