Princess Meghan and Prince Harry have given birth to their first girl child, she will be named Diana Lilibet after her great-grandmother.
After the Queen’s family nickname, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor will be known to as Lili for short.
She was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California on Friday, June 4th, at 11:40 a.m., weighing 7 pounds and 11 ounces.
In a statement, Meghan and Harry’s press secretary said that ‘both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home’.
