Workers in the Ogun State Civil/Public Service have once again been called upon to continue to offer their best services to the State for its overall development.
The Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro made the call while fielding questions from journalists as part of efforts commemorating the new year and the workers' resumption from the one-day break declared by the Federal Government to celebrate the new year, 2022.
According to him, the workforce must continue to be up and doing, show more dedication to duties and loyalty to the government so that the agenda of the administration can be fully delivered, while adequate leadership would be provided to ensure smooth running of government activities in the State.
While acknowledging that 2022 is a critical year for the government, where political activities would be at its peak, Dr. Aigoro challenged the workers, as the engine room of government, to stay focused and always do the needful in their various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in order to stabilise the government.
"I want to congratulate all the workers for witnessing the new year and to also commend their efforts in the past years for moving the Service to enviable heights. I pray for God's guidance and wisdom to carry on in this new year and to solicit your continued support to the government to be able to deliver all that is needed' the Head of Service said.
