By counting blessings, Oba Mojeed Adesegun Rufai Alao was grateful to God as he marked his birthday today.
The monarch who was born and bread in Owo in Yewa South LGA of Ogun State. to the late Baale of Owo,who was installed as Baale in 1955 at Ado-Odo.and died at the age of 104 years in May 1989 after serving his community for 34 years.
As a Royal father of Nigeria’s commercial and industrial hub , Oba Mojeed Rufai Alao is faced with the challenge of satisfying the yearnings of the over 25 thousand residents of OWO and the neighboring communities.under his domain.

Roads – One of the major achievements of Oba Mojeed Adesegun Rufai Alao in the just one thousand and ninety five days (1095) He single handed finance the massive over forty five kilometers (45) road (re) grading, In 2017 from Oke Odan to Fatedo, and also from Oke Odan again to Owo town.
As we all know, river is a natural stream of water that flows in its channel with defined banks . The concept of channeled surface flows has been blocked and dellapilated it has got to a state of disrepair and ruin as a result of aged and neglect In the past, Owo town had been blessed with stream rivers that surrounded the town for the used of the villagers, but almost 40 years it has been paradox and become den of pigs.
He also ventured into dredging the tunnel of the river by hiring excavator
By now the river Yewa and River Akashi. is back like its old days, people now use it for different purposes even they go to these rivers to pray and then they get answers.
"Although at a point, there were lots of challenges. At the end of the day, I called the neighbouring communities together because I was a politician before I ascended the throne.
Oba Rufai Also also stated that before he came in, the night market was not operating for 15 years. Even the morning market too had gone on extinction but now Almighty has used him to restore the day and evening and day market back to life.
"I gave out power generating sets to complement electricity in the market.
When I ascended the throne, there was no light, I sent for the manager of PHCN at Owode and we discussed and they clear the bush around the transformer, so they can fix it,
The Power Holding Company Plc (PHCN) came and disconnected us from the national grid some years back the complaint was that my people were not paying, I went to their office in Owode and cleared the bills.

"My Primary School was in Owo here. At a point, I discovered that they lacked certain amenities; no toilet for the pupils among others. I immediately released funds for them to buy materials.
I renovated Methodist Primary School, I remembered we went there for a meeting and I discovered there were no ceilings. I called workers and it was repaired
Before this I've donated exercise books to 17 primary schools in Ogun State and another Secondary School, Owo High School.
" Each primary school got 100 bundles each and SUBEB gave me a letter of appreciation for my generosity.. What is on my mind is to render assistance to my people. My determination with what God has done for me is to assist people, my people know that I am a philanthropist.
"By the grace of God I've put end to the power tussle in religious circle I call to the notice of the league of Imam and Alfas the problem on ground for over 16 years, God has put an end to it, likewise CAN intervention has stopped the christian too.moreso the Owo utral modern town hall shall be completed very soon.and many more
So by this I need to count my blessings by giving glory to Almighty Allah
Today that I am marking my birthday chieftaincy title shall be given to notable personalities and likewise certificate of appointment shall be given to the Eze Udo of Ifekowajo in person of HRH Igwe Rev. Dr. Uzorigwe Ignatius".
