Mercy Aigbe, the Nollywood actress, and Lara Olokotun, the shoe vendor better known as Larrit, have engaged each other in a heated confrontation at a recent party in Lagos state.
In a now-viral video, Larrit could be seen sitting close to Iyabo Ojo, another movie star, while Aigbe was vibing to a song and saying, “are they mad, are they crazy”.
Larrit could thereafter be heard pouring out her annoyance on Aigbe while the actress appeared to be unperturbed as she continued eating her food.
The confrontation started when Larrit claimed Aigbe mentioned her name and then threw an object believed to be a bottle at her.
In the ensuing fight, Ojo, who was earlier smiling in the video, could be seen trying to vacate her seat for safety.
Another video clip showed Aigbe and Larrit exchanging words on a nearby road with security operatives and guests in attendance trying to prevent the confrontation from escalating.
What led to the fight remains unclear as of the time of this report.
There are, however, claims that the confrontation was due to Kazim Adeoti, Aigbe’s new husband.
The actress has been in the news since she flaunted Adeoti as her husband in January.
