A middle aged man simply identified as Kehinde Olakunle Peter residing at No-38, Ikereku Street ,Ijaiye Ojokoro,Lagos State has been declared wanted by his family members and the elders of Ijemo traditional ruling council following his involvement in gay practice with his partner name withheld, an act considered sacrilegious in the land.
Our Correspondent gathered that he was captured while having anal sex commonly referred to as homosexual in an uncompleted building when the information came to the elders, who requested some youths of the community to catch them and clearly apprehended them in the process.
Talking to crime Journalists, by a member of the family and a prominent citizen Hon. Kehinde Odeneye said that when they got the information of their bad act they ordered the youths to take action and eventually arrested them, adding that they had decided to hand them over to the police, saying that before the arrival of the police, the main actor, Kehinde Olakunle Peter escaped and abandoned his companion to his fate who was handed over to the police.
The Hon. said further that his partner when interrogated by the police confessed that he and Olakunle had been engaging in anal sex for almost four years . His Partner is currently in police custody for further investigation.
Hon. Kehinde Odeneye also said that even though the partner was founded guilty and was served a jail terms, he would also have been made to perform some traditional rituals to appease the gods, because such an act cause a frightening epidemic which usually results in premature deaths among the youth, while he ( Kehinde Olakunle Peter) has been declared wanted to allow him to face the wrath of his misdeeds as it is a taboo for a man to have anal sex with his fellow man in the community.
But reacting, Kehinde Olakunle Peter sibling who did not want his name in print because of the nature of the crime, also testified about the allegation of Kehinde Olakunle Peter having an affair with many male partners. He said on several occasions that he had caught his brother at his residence with some male friends but each time he asked him, he always denied it.
He said those that had one thing or the other to do with his brother had received many threatening messages from the elders and the people of the community, asking them to produce him within a limited period of time.
At the time of this report, no one knows where he is, but the family members are assisting the police in the search.
