Chiefs in Imo, a section of Egba town have released programmes for the burial of the slain Olu of Agodo, Oba Ayinde Odetola.
Chiefs in a joint address by the Agodo, Imo and Egba Chiefs held at the Ake palace reels out the burial arrangements to include a press conference held on Friday 14th October 2022
Service of songs, Tuesday 18th October and burial rites
Wednesday 19th October, by 10 am
The Chiefs announced that there will also be a funeral Service on Wednesday 19th October 2.00 pm, while the traditional Burial will take place on Thursday 20th October, at 11 am.
Fridaus prayer, Saturday 22nd October 11 am, thanksgiving service, Sunday 23rd October

The chiefs enjoined everyone to troop out en masse to give the traditional ruler a befitting burial and urged all to remain calm and peaceful before during and after the burial.
It will be recalled that Oba Ayinde Odetola, the late Olu of Agodo was brutally murdered in the town last year.
Following the murder, about sixteen suspects have been arrested and arraigned in court.
Addressing newsmen on the programme for the burial, Chief Sikiru Amodu Balogun Imo town, the home town of Agodo in Abeokuta also urged any members of the public with further useful information that could aid police in their investigation to make such available to the police
