APC stakeholders berate fabricated petition against Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as President Tinubu's competent ministerial nominee
Some concern APC stakeholders from the 44 local government in Kano condemn the so called petition of 50,000 APC members opposing the nomination of former speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata.
The group leader, Hon. Ado Isyaku Daddauda, a former legislative member in Kano Assembly stated this to newsmen in Kano.
Daddauda said, the so-called APC 50,000 members is just a fabrication meant to tarnish the image of real APC stakeholders in Kano and are bad elements of APC, as well as enemies of Kano, who are hell-bent in tarnishing the hard-earned reputation of Kano and its populace.
He emphasized that Yusufs nomination by President Tinubu is long overdue, looking at the impeccable records of Ata as a grassroot politician, former adviser to the Kano State Governor for eight year, three term member of Kano State House of Assembly and above all the Speaker of the Assembly.
He also said it is pertinent to state categorically that the so-called APC 50,000 members are being intimidated by Yusuf Atas records of integrity and excellent performance in what he stands for and all the assignments he was given in his constituency in particular and country in general.
The former legislator affirm that President Tinubu has nominated Yusuf Ata at a time when he is needed most in line with Renewed Hope Agenda in addressing housing deficit among Nigerians due to his experience as Planning Officer in Kano State Housing Corporation since 1994.
The stakeholders urged the good people of Kano State and well-meaning Nigerians to disregard the purported baseless allegation of the so called 50,000 APC members.
