Labour Party has reacted to the press statement credited to one, Banji Omotosho, claiming that the Party has collapsed its structure in Ekiti State for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the Saturday election.

In a press statement issued on Thursday, the National Publicity Secretary of LP Comrade Oluwafemi Arabambi said the Party had no intention of collapsing its structure for any party.

Arabambi said the statement credited to Banji Omotosho was a wishful thinking adding that the man who claimed to be the party Chairman in Ekiti is an impostor who had been dismissed from LP years ago.

"The attention of Labour Party has been drawn to an amusing dream, a pathetic wishful claim that suggest  the collapse of Ekiti State LP structure into APC.

"Setting the records straight, Bar Okunade Odunayo is the only known State Chairman in Ekiti while Comrade Roland Olugbenga Daramola and Alh Ibrahim Onile remains our Governorship and Deputy Governorship Candidates for the June 18th Ekiti Governorship Election.

"This is one public lie that can not fly. This claim is false, untrue and the public is advised to completely ignore the fake report".

Arabambi said APC is 'parading a dismissed former  Ekiti State LP Chairman as the LP structure".

"This ex - Chairman who was removed and dismissed for leading few other equally implicated and dismissed ex - members in the stealing of Party funds are falsely and insincerely being presented to the public as the LP structure.

"Labour Party has since being seen, noted and widely acknowledged as a party with a capital zero tolerance for all forms and kinds of dishonesty and negative attitudes.

"Labour Party hereby strongly offers the public an especially good choice ahead of the 2023 election, the choice of voting right for Labour Party that is very committed to leading Nigeria towards a New Nigeria of a new standard and a new morality , all Nigerians desire and deserve.

The Party called on "the voting public to utilize the opportunity of the 2023 election to loudly reject the APC with their votes . All Voters must vote for the only one political Party that is people - friendly , sincere , disciplined , honest and responsible, the Labour Party with its Presidential Candidate, the very same Peter Obi fondly preferred by the majority of the voting public in Nigeria.

"Labour Party will keep pursuing the best interests of Nigerians and keep integrity , fair play, Equity and Justice as the corner stone of driving all its activities. Electing Labour Party and Obedient - Peter into the Presidency in 2023 will mark the beginning of the best for Nigeria in terms of good Governance."
