Appeal Court Judgement: Aderinokun reserves praise for judiciary, thanks supporters for steadfastness


The People's Democratic Party candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Chief Olumide Aderinokun has described Monday's court ruling as prove of the people's mandate while also praising the people for their unwavering support.

Earlier on Monday, the Court of Appeal in Ibadan set aside a ruling of the Federal High Court that demand the conduct of fresh primary election in Ogun State PDP.

Recall that Chief Olumide Aderinokun secured a landslide victory in Ogun Central Senatorial District primary, defeating his rivals with 214 votes from a total of 216 votes.

"Today's judgement once again proves that our mission to recover Ogun State better is greater than any man," an elated Chief Aderinokun said.

"I have always believed in the judiciary despite the compromised judgement we got in September. With an unbiased judicial system and the efforts of you and I, this country will be great.

"I especially appreciate our teeming supporters and the entire populace in Ogun State because they have stood by us and they have shown believe in the PDP despite the distraction with court cases.

"The people have shown steadfastness and we will not relent to bring relief to Ogun Central Senatorial District and Ogun State."
