A call has gone to government at all levels to relate cordially with nollywood entertainers, melody makers as partners in progress due to their great socio-economic contributions.
This clarion call was made by Mr Kehinde Soaga the Ogun State coordinator Ogun Indigent Forum during a brief chat with the Press at the just concluded drum festival in abeokuta Ogun state
"Nollywood entertainers in general are integral part of the socio-economic development of every state and nation while tourism provide a boost to the revenue generation system'.
Mr Soaga gave Fela Anikulapo's case as a good example of an international star who was a global entertainer with socio-economic contributions to Nigeria and African at large.
While congratulating the ourgoing Governor Amosun led administration for initiating and promoting African culture to the whole world through the annual African drum fiesta, he appealled to the incoming governor, Dr.Dapo Abiodun led administration to sustain this lofty idea.
